How each case study gets built

Documentation follows a consistent structure so clients can reference real parallels to their own situation.

Initial brief documentation

Every case starts with a structured intake document. The client's situation, existing brand assets, and core business problem are recorded before any design work begins.

Project milestones on record

Each phase — research, concept, revision, and handoff — is logged with the actual timeline. The case study reflects what happened, including any scope adjustments or client feedback cycles.

Client verification before publishing

Before a case study goes live, the client reviews the written account. Any detail they prefer kept confidential is removed. Attribution is only used with written permission.

What clients said afterward

The process was more structured than I expected. Tolbanerup asked questions I had not thought to answer myself, which pushed the brief into something genuinely useful. The final identity held up in contexts we had not originally planned for.

We had worked with two other agencies before. The difference here was that Tolbanerup stayed focused on our actual business constraints, not on producing a portfolio piece. The timeline was accurate and the handoff documentation was thorough.
